Yumo, fresh and hot from the oven with a bowl of vegie soup! Perfect easy dinner for a FA-reeeeezing and stormy winter night.
I love making these old school cheesy and lazy kinda scone thingees. To be fair I don’t even really know what they are, but they are good.
My recipe is super simple and easy to carry round in your head:
1 cup of flour
1 cup of grated cheese
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
milk to mix
EXTRAS – curry powder, chopped garlic,sweet chilli sauce, fresh chopped herbs
Combine the flour, cheese, baking powder and salt. Crack in the egg and using a bread and butter knife cut in the milk to make a sloppy dough consistency.
Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto trays lined with baking paper and cook at 200 degrees for 5-10 minutes until puffy and golden.
EAT THEM HOT! They Don’t keep well 🙂
